I would go for it! I'm also seriously considering Evelyn if this baby is a girl. It's either going to be Megan Elizabeth or Evelyn Elizabeth. I'm very torn.

If we had a daughter we were planning on Evelyn. Technically Jewel Evelyn, but calling her Evelyn or Evie. <3 that name! And I would t hesitate to use it in your situation.

My husband's cousin just had a little girl and they named her Lily, which is our daughter's first name. It was fine. Evelyn as the others' middle name? Totally fine! Do it! It's a great name!

Sure! Maybe Im a bit more conservative, but since its the middle name of a close family member, Id let the parents know our plans to name our daughter Evelyn. Not asking permission, but kind of giving them a heads up since our kids would share a name and not wanting them to be surprised when they found out, or make a misinterpretation or something.

Both are excellent names...mine is Megan Elizabeth and my favorite aunt was named Evelyn :-)

My cousin's first name is Ann, and my middle name is Anne. It's never been an issue for us.
