Three Hands - You Buy Fabric, We Donate Diapers

Diaper cuts and other conveniently sized fleece pieces, starting at 1.50!

Free shipping after $10. When you spend $25, we donate a fleece soaker to a family in need.

Even if you don't buy, feel free to add your ideas for using these fleece pieces below! The last thing we want to do is contribute to anybody's unused fabric hoard

Fleece is "antipill" type acquired from Joann Fabric and Crafts Stores. It is new, unwashed, and currently residing in a nonsmoking, pet-free, chemical-conscious, HEPA-filtered home. Antipill fleece is Blizzard fleece with a special finish that encourages it to pill in an even and attractive way.

22 x 22" Diaper Cuts : $2.75 solid, $3.50 print
22 x 12" "Half Cuts" (stretch in the 12" direction) : $1.50 solid, $2.50 print
5" x 58" "End Cuts" (stretch in the 58" direction) : $1.50 solid, $2.50 print

Close to 100 prints and colors are in our Hyena Cart store. The swatches are posted there, along with verbal descriptions of the colors and prints (because judging color on persnickety computer monitors can give us a bad case of ). Some prints are Blizzard fleece.

To celebrate the awesomeness that is Diaperswappers, I'm offering the following package deal here:

A coordinated collection including two of each cut, in one print and one solid (6 pieces of fleece total) for $12!

Specify boyish, girlish, gender neutral ... I'll attempt to honor requests for specific colors and prints, or let me know what your favorite (and least favorite) colors are.

Three Hands Creations is a registered nonprofit with the state of Oregon.

Idea #1: Whip up an adorable, breathable diaper cover using the FREE Katrina Quick Sew Soaker pattern for fleece.

Idea #2, no sewing! Use 2 square cuts of fleece to make a no sew baby blanket! Fringe the edges, tie the fringe together. Use more squares to make a throw for the toddler bed or the couch.

Idea #3: The Babyville diaper and training pant patterns, available at Joanns, are sized for their 21"x18" diaper cuts that run 3 for $15. Get more breathability and even two diapers or trainers per diaper cut, by using my fleece instead!

Joanns does not give weights or thickness ratings like 200 weight, etc. Antipill is their Blizzard Fleece with a pre-pilled finish so when it washes it pills evenly, where Blizzard gets sort of mangey looking.

My experience and what I'm told by many mamas is, 2 layers of Joann brand Antipill is great for diaper covers (the Katrina soaker had a second layer just in the wetzone).

What are you hoping to use the fleece for? Maybe I can give you a better answer...

Here is an adorable fleece carseat cover! You can piece together a few diaper cuts to make it, or check with me about continuous pieces that are large enough to do it no-sew!
