Unhappy They should have called it "24/7 sickness"

Anybody else feeling nauseous from the time you get up to the time you go to bed? This is #5 so I've been through this 4 other times but I just don't remember feeling this bad. The thought of food makes me gag but I feel terrible if I don't eat. Can anybody else relate?

It is called morning sickness because a man hasn't studied it and named it after himself yet. You know, like Braxton Hicks contractions weren't known until a man discovered them and put his name to it. Because of course women weren't already well aware of them.

They really should call it that.

I have some bad days. I use Sea bands but a B6 vitamin supplement seems to be making the biggest difference.

I also carry crystallized ginger because sometimes I just can't take it.

Re: They should have called it "24/7 sickness"

I am pregnant with #3, and it's been the worst so far regarding nausea. I am 23 weeks and still having nausea. It's a boy this time, so I'm wondering if it's just going to be different. I have found taking my vitamins actually helps, as does eating protein throughout the day, and staying away from a lot of sugar.

My midwife told me taking 1/2 a unisom and 25 milligrams of vitamin a helps with nausea. I've been taking it at night and it's wonderful!!!!

I was like that with my first. Iced lemon water helped me. There is an herbal tea blend by earth mama angel baby, I don't remember the name but it soothes the tummy.
