We started skating very young in my family. I think I was 3 or 4 the first winter I was on skates.

Bella is going downhill skiing for the first time with her school in a few weeks.... lets hope for no broken bones. Grace is NOT her middle name! They are going ice skating too, I am guessing that Miss Wyoming will get schooled my the MN kids!

If it was something we could afford to do more often I'd be out with the kids a lot...but it's so expensive.

My brother broke his knee the first time he went skiing. Not fun. It took months to heal.

I've never been skiing. I haven't ice or roller skated in years. Not since Shannon was a little baby. I tried after she was born but my hips just dont do that motion any more. It's too painful.

Probably... it seemed a big step up when we went to the Black Hills! I never liked it much, we started cross country skiing when I was a toddler until I was was 12 or so. Then we stopped for some reason but I always liked that more.

ok, I'm off to bed ladies...It's been a long day and no sleep is getting to me.

Tomorrow I really hope I can focus on sitting and knitting. Not baking or running around. I dont have anywhere to go or anything to do really. I'm thinking a pasta dish of some sort for dinner tomorrow, Something simple...with a little bacon and either tomato or cream to finish it.

Either way it wont be the baking marathon that today was. I dont need to make any bread, there's enough pie for tomorrow too.
