Ahh, swirl dye. I have such a love/hate relationship with you! Someday soon I will have an awesome dye setup, but for now I dye small amounts of fabric at a time (in my dining room, no less!).

My 5 year old son loved dyeing day! It was his job to spread the shaving cream mixture on the rubbermaid lids.

Of course it was mommy's job to swirl the dye.

I used bamboo jersey (which is a super soft bamboo knit fabric) to dye with. After I was done, I turned them into MotherMoonPads!

Oh, they are NICE! I really enjoyed a sneak peak at the process and especially how your son is involved. Great job!!

Makes me want to find something to swirl dye, my dd would love doing this too!
