Id go 1 or 4. It's always darker/brighter on a wall than it looks on a swatch.

Re: Please help me choose a color!

For me, it depends. Are you doing the whole wall in one color with the chair rail, two different blues with the chair rail between, or blue just on the bottom with the chair rail?

If you are going for blue on the whole wall, I recommend you don't have a chair rail.

If you are going for two different blues with the rail in between, I like 3 and 4 (I think -- hard for me to picture them together).

If you want just blue on the bottom, I really like 6, but it might be too dark with the black and dark wood against it, so I would probably go for 2 or 4.

Re: Please help me choose a color!

Of the ones with numbers, I like 3. BUT...I really think you should go with one of the lighter ones you xed out at the bottom. Unless this is just going to be an accent wall...and depending on your flooring, I think all the choices with numbers will suck too much light out of the room (This, coming from someone with dark furniture, medium-dark wood floors, and 2 out of 4 walls that are dark red).

Still loving the different votes! It's looking like 1 or 4...we are doing a white chair rail on the bottom with the blue on top...so half the wall will be white and half the wall will blue...it's going to go around the living/dining room...I actually really like 6 but agree that it's probably too dark for our space. (We just moved into a tiny 2 bedroom apartment)

I like #4. I'm not a big fan of darker primary blue for a main room, it feels like a child's play room to me.

I agree 1 or 4. Between the two... I have a slight preference towards 1.

Agree on liking the Xed one under two but otherwise 4. I will say the white might help, but dark colors do take a lot of light out of a room, even one that is well lit, I made this mistake twice.
