Basically it's Friday!

So cute. We don't get enough squishy shots these days (ahem, KARI)
We had a two hour late start, now Mari said she didn't feel good and has a low fever, I have a sore throat and am achy so I kept her home and am calling in to work too since DH is on his way to the border. It was about -20 with no wind this morning. My feet are frozen even though I was wearing winter boots in a running car the whole time.
I think I will put a big pot of chili on and make some banana bread and corn muffins for tonight. I will *attempt* to make refried beans in the pressure cooker too to put in the chili as the recipe I found calls for it. First I need to make sure that I have beans though

at school. first rough morning in two weeks...MH and I both threw shoes this morning...very adult of me I know. Diagnosed the problem as two fold
1. no toys in the livingroom in the morning, distracts the kid and pisses off the momma
2. no nap for two weeks does not help the kid's attitude!

Weeks we've suffered with crappy internet...today I had to have yet another FIT at Heiner about it. 5 minutes later the interwebs people say there was something on the line and suddenly it's working.
