Summer woolies?

Hi! I'm trying to prepare for summer. It gets in the upper 90s here most of the summer. What brands/styles are good for this type if summer weather?

I have a few Woollybottoms and some Bumby OTW, but I don't know if they are usable for the summers. Anyone have any recommendations?

TIA!

Re: Summer woolies?

I put DD in a lot of knit wool soakers. I feel like knit wool is more breathable than interlock because of the little holes. I don't know if I'm crazy...

She did fine in interlock and upcycled though.

I will say that summer wool can get dirty in ways winter wool doesn't (sand box, pool, beach, giant backyard mud puddles made from the sprinkler...). I think it's a good idea to have a few play pieces that you don't care about.

Excellent point about getting more ruined. I'm working on a good wool stash for DS who is 1 and bound to become a big pig sty this summer. I guess I won't dye and appliqué ALL his wool interlock shorts haha.

I think most wool is still cooler than a PUL diaper cover.

Usually ppl feel the opposite- interlock is cooler than knit. Bumby makes silky wool which is thiinner than their fuzzy and people like that for warmer weather too. But really you can't go wrong with wool compared to pul or disposables anyway

Thank you ladies! This answered my questions. I will definitely keep these points in mind. Guess I'll buy a few silky pieces.

We are just now moving into the world of wool. What are your favorite wool soakers for hot locations?
