Re: February Spending Accountability thread

I'm going to call it for today. It's only half way through the day but I'm at work for a few more hours and since the weather is yucky I know dh won't be taking the kids anywhere. I have to go straight home after work so he can get to work. I did make $100 on craigslist today selling an old area rug. I'm up to having made $280 so far this month selling things so I'm a bit of a selling kick. I'm hoping to find some more bigger ticket items around the house.

Re: February Spending Accountability thread

I have a huge basket of gymbo clothes waiting for me to take pictures of and list on ebay. Maybe I will work on that tonight. I really want to see if I can make at least $100 this month just to have as a mini ef in my sock drawer.

Re: February Spending Accountability thread

It's only 10am here but I'm calling it for today already! I'm at work and dh is home with the kids and dd is sick so they won't be leaving the house at all today. I'm avoiding the online sales that are tempting me today. I find that when I "call it" early I am less tempted to spend because I don't want to have to come back here and change my numbers.

We found a square pack n play and you box, both brand new, both retail over 100, for $40 each. And both were needed.

Re: February Spending Accountability thread

I am in, not going to count groceries, gas or build this time, just extra. Paid 45$ for something I owed taxes on, bought a friend a candy bar for her bday when I stopped over, and kids did great shopping for groceries and such so we all share a fruit frozen yogurt at Costco. Bought without collection since it was a good deal and I need more. Chapter than gym
1-$1.69 candy bar for friend
2-$0
3-$0
4-$45 leftover taxes payment
5-$29.79 /8 workout DVDs shipped $1.68 shared frozen yogurt between 5 of us
6-$2.15 dollar tree/shower curtain, jelly belly

Re: February Spending Accountability thread

I'm planning on today being a no spend and fingers crossed it turns out that way. Tomorrow will be expensive because I have to pay for the kids camp registration as well as other spring and summer classes for them. I wish registration for it wasn't all at the same time!

Re: February Spending Accountability thread

ugh, I'm totally embarrassed to list our spending for today. BUT, it was park district class registration today so it includes all the kids extra activities for spring and summer. art class for dd, spring soccer for ds, summer tball for ds, and summer camp for both kids. The total for all that was $595

I then spent $7 at TRU for a movie, a preorder of another movie, a jumbo pen for dd, and a matchbox airplane for ds (had lots of coupons).
