DASH diet, anyone do it?

I am 25 and was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and put on meds for it Doctor recommended the high blood pressure diet (DASH) and I could really use some advice to stay on track. I used to have a couple sodas a day (at least) so just cutting those out has cut my sodium intake drastically but it's so hard when I have a junk food/salt lover DH at home.

Any advice and tips? Or recipes I can make that EVERYONE will like.
