Yeast infection??? wth help please :(

I am almost sure that is what william has.. I kept him diaper free for at least 24 hours...and bath him everytime he pees on my floor..LOL...
well it is spreading.. and RED!!! looks like he burned himself all the way around..
I am almost 100% sure that is what it is.. I googled pics of a diaper rash yeast infection and it looks like his.. ( his isnt as horrible as those pics.. but getting worse!!)

WEll he doesnt go to the dr till tomorrow... and I am sure that it is going to be horrible by then..

is there something that i can put on it? Like the yeast infection cream for women or something ? I bought that lotromin ultra or whatever...and it wipes off on everything.. so i dont see how that is going to help... but any natural things I can do .. or something that can help till tomorrow

I know I keep asking questions abou this.. I just need something to tide him over till tomorrow when I see his dr.

THanks so much in advance mamaz

I know some of you have had to deal with this b4..

BTW.. how the heck did he catch that. could it be bc he eats bread ALLL THE TIME?

Do you have any GSE in the house? If so, and if you have a mini spray bottle, perhaps you could boil then cool some water, pour that into the spray bottle, add a couple of drops of GSE in it, (along with lavendar EO or TTO), and spray in on your LO's bottom?

GSE safely kills fungus and other bacteria.

you could also put PLAIN yogurt on the yeasty areas. It's just as messy as the anti-fungal cream, but natural.

Some people are prone to yeast infections: too much processed sugar in their diets, depleted "good bacteria" in their system, areas become moist and not getting air, etc.

You can buy probiotics for your little one (we buy some called Primadophilus, powder form and dissolves in liquid).

GSE is a total miracle cure for yeast. It's $5 at the health food store. If you can give it to him internally, either through breastmilk or hidden in juice, that would really help.

Other things to do are:

get some sunshine on his bottom, fresh air and sunshine work wonders

rinse with 1/3 vinegar 2/3 water after every pee, this balances the ph

aloe vera and calendula soothe, heal, and are antifungal

stop eating bread with yeast, make your own with flour or get sprouted bread

unsweetened cranberry juice helps, too.

Good luck, mama, I hope it heals up fast!

Ditto to the above & DOnt just Jump at the mention of some antibiotic cream crap the dr will offer! Try the abovve mentioned things first.

They WILL WORK!

And they have no potentially harmfull side effects

Deffinately this! AND feed baby some as well!
And Kefir is an AWESOME Probiotic for those with recurrent yeast issues (mamas too) and those with a sensitive gut or gastrointestinal issues.

Lotrimin worked great for ds's yeast rash. We would slather on the Lotrimin and the top it with zinc oxide cream so it didn't get rubbed off. Within 24 hrs, his bloody rash was almost gone!
