Yes JAnine there was pizza.

I am home from shopping...did great this week with savings and coupons. Saved 31% $51.00. Forgot the damn baggies to break down the meat packages

I think I might have an ovarian cyst considering rupturing. Having pain every so often where I did when it happened 15 years ago. Not too bad to just keeping on for now.

Need to get groceries put away and clean MH's toy MESS
Well done.

I went shopping with Heiner to make sure he stocks up on the important things. We got a lot of dry goods that I'm always needing but we're nearly always out of. Milk rice, long grain rice, brown sugar, oats, pasta, and some extras like boxes for cold-cuts, lentils/peas, earplugs (for me), and deo/make-up I need (for work mostly...I dont wear it at home any more), and bath salts for me too.

I hope your cyst bursts soon...sorry about the pain.

Good luck with the cleaning.

OK that makes more sense Kari.

Jerry helped put groceries away...never very helpful. Just puts new groceries in first without rearranging or pulling out leftovers...oh well that is fixed.

MH's room was awful took and hour.

Re: Basically it's the weekend!

I put the shopping away,
We tidied up the kids room,
vacuumed though the flat,
I put Fynn to bed,
Now the kids are watching Thor and eating popcorn.

Homemade sausage and chips for dinner tonight.

We have nothing else planned for the weekend really.

I need to do my nails tomorrow. But otherwise nothing much.

Re: Basically it's the weekend!

Hola mamacitas. Can I be sent to my room?

Now I want tea.

This morning we got up early b/c it was our church's turn to make food for the big soup kitchen downtown. We got to roll silverware and bag freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Well, DH got to make green beans with bacon, but the kids are too young to be near the big industrial stove. Then we headed over to the outlet mall, because TCP sent out 20% coupons AND they are doing their year end clearnance. Ate at Toby Keith's restaurant and got to eat chicken fried steak in Detroit. But no deep fried Twinkies, for obvious reasons.

I made a huge score at TCP. Six pairs of jeans, 4 pairs of cord leggings, two long sleeve polo shirts, and a pair of snowboots for $93. And I learned that if you go to the boys's side of TCP, they have plain jeans in "skinny", which are just normal plain GN jeans in a slim cut. I never knew this because I always shopped for Ian in the baby/toddler size before. So not only do I have a source for jeans for Ian, I can also get some for Rosie if I can't find girls' jeans in her size. I think I am pretty much going to stick to TCP for jeans from now on, because I can get slim for Rose, plus for Ginger, and skinny for Ian.

Now I am wiped out. I am supposed to go to TJ's and get food I will actually eat for lunch during the week, but I may beg off and send myself to my room.

Re: Basically it's the weekend!

52 weeks in the year and BIL has decided he's getting married on the 10th May.

The week my birthday falls in, and Mother's day...and it's only a few days before Derry's birthday.

I HATE that they have chosen that date!

Ugh Janine. Well, it's only one time, right? Not like you need to celebrate it after they are married. I assume all of you have to go? Do you have to go far?
