I guess the big difference is I know it's never a good idea to read into something without clarifying. That's why I asked why she edits. I don't see how removing a post content completely reduces her post count at all. In fact, doing the constant edit and post again makes it look suspicious. That's why I asked directly. I suppose I could have asked via PM, but that totally nullifies the point of ds. I am sure others wonder about the edits too and now it's out there.

Or maybe I should blame my post on my pregnancy? I wasn't asking to be snarky. I didn't see any reason to flower up a simple question with extra fluff. I also didn't expect to get jumped for wondering.

The edits break the flow of the thread and I wasn't sure if I was missing something. I started reading this thread to see what other people do during their at home time and the . Posts really stand out.

Hi, I'm Heather. I was pursuing an attempt at doing contract software work when I got pregnant with DD, so I've been a house-spouse/SAHM since June 2011. Housework is NOT my strong suit, but I'm getting better! My current goal is trying to make some time at least once a week to work on personal software projects, otherwise I feel like my brain is going to turn to mush. My DD is 10.5 months old and all over the place! She just figured out walking last week, nothing is safe!!

Daily goals:
-- Make bed, sweep high traffic areas
-- vacuum livingroom rug
-- vacuum DD's room
-- wash dishes
-- wash diapers + load of something else
-- feed sheep, clean barn
-- feed chickens, gather eggs
-- Give dog his ear medicine
-- List items on eBay and DS
-- Zumba
-- dinner
-- after dinner kitchen cleanup
-- sweep and mop kitchen
-- wash bottles, pacis and teethers
-- fold and put away laundry

i edit because i don't want a huge long post taking up the entire screen to be there a million times. that's why i replace it with a "." and move on to the next. so that my post doesn't take up as much of the screen.

i wish i was somewhere close to being done. blah. unfortunately there's still a lot to do. dh will be home in about 20 minutes (hopefully) and then i am supposed to go get my sushi. may end up taking the rest of the night off.

I'm contemplating getting Thai takeout and taking the night off, too. But not before scratching off a few more todos, out of necessity!

Bah. Why did I not update here as I worked today? now to try to remember what I did...

Rinsed, washed, dried diapers.
Washed dishes and ran dishwasher.
Made Valentine's dinner for dh (fried ravioli).
Delegated a lot of stuff to dh.

I'm still taking it easy with cramps and a migraine to boot.

oh yeah, I'm also working on a writing project. I used to write a lot before ds was born. Fiction just for fun. I participated in nanowrimo every year until he was born too. Anyway, I wrote two chapters for a new project today.

Clean carpet in hall and kids room, at least
Clean windows/doors
Organize as needed
Move dresser into DD2's room
Re-arrange DD2's room to accommodate new dresser
Change sheets on my bed
Change sheets for kids
Laundry
Clean my bathroom
Clean hall bathroom
Clean my room, including mess that's still in there from purging toys
Mop
Grocery shop for party food
Make 48 cupcakes
Make party food (keeping it simple)
Clean up poo in backyard (DH)
Organize toys outside
Wipe down patio table/chairs (no time to pressure wash!)
Clean up plant growth, I mean, weeds, outside (DH)
Wash 1 window and door that the dog dirtied
Tidy carport
Clean off swings and slide that are dirty from the dog
Bathe the dog!
Deep clean kitchen
Decorate for party (again, very simple)
Go to Sam's
Get candy and favor bags
Wrap DS's presents
Charge camera batteries
Put away new Charlie's Soap (big container had cracked in shipment)
Vacuum mess made from spilled soap
Put away box of things brought in from car
Make Red beans and rice for DS's chef creole day at school
Assembled favor bags for party

Done Thursday, in addition to above
Loaded/ran/emptied DW
Scrubbed half of deck
Washed dog's blanket (last night)
Cleaned kennel (last night)
Kitchen is spotless! I spent the whole morning on it
1 load washed/dried
Another load in the wash
