Padfolding flats on the medium setting ?

I currently padfold small flats on the medium setting of my covers but would like to maybe add absorbancy and use medium flats (LL and Swaddlebees) but, find them too bulky. If you use medium flats on the medium setting how do you fold them?
TIA

I'd love to know this too. I'm having the hardest time figuring out a good pad fold with my large imagine bamboos for the smallest setting flips. I can't get the flat small enough without all of the bulky hems in the back.

I do it mariamommy style; fold in half, then in thirds to have a long snake, then in half.
I do have the hems all in the back but if you stagger it just a little it's not a super huge bump. It is working great on the medium setting (I have the Imagine bamboo, they are the same size as my unbleached DR larges). They actually can squish into the small setting as well, for the baby who is on the large end of the small setting (so, not a newbie).

Thanks! I'll try this way with my baby when she wakes up.
