Oh my good lord! Is anyone else's husband diagnosed with this? :)

Saturday and/or Sunday Sickness is what I call it

There's at least one FULL lazy day with nothing but a butt imprinted on the recliner with headphones on and a computer on the lap. Eating, drinking and everything else happens in this very spot. I'm surprised there is no bucket to take a leak in nearby

I don't mind a rest day...Sunday is a day of rest. But all day? I feel like that's a HUGE waste of a day

And don't even tell me your eggo is burnt on one side! You're lucky you got an eggo delivery! I can't be mad at him...he's much too cute

But am I the only one?

Haha. DH and I are the opposite. I'm the one who needs a "rest day" and he is always being productive. Hence the reason I've been on DS all morning.

I'm sure you aren't alone. I'll take it one step further. DH and I play in a pool league on Friday nights. We're out late and he drinks (I drive) and then he spends most of the weekend sleeping on the couch. Maybe be glad your DH is conscious?

Yes, this is true. Even though mine can sleep when the kids are running around riding their little atv's and such making a ton of noise. Can't wake the dead

I'm always amazed what he can sleep through too.

Me too...but DH was fairly warned that I was taking today as a "do absolutely nothing" day. I did actually do the dishes and 2 loads of laundry first thing this morning, but nothing since then besides snuggle with DS on the couch and watch the new Tinkerbell movie and hand around DS some.

My DH used to need his "rest day" on Saturdays while I worked. Aside from the kids being alive and not starving, not a single thing had ever been done all day. Eventually, I got him to understand that if he could manage a load of dishes, some tidying, and possibly some vacuuming, we could enjoy Sunday as a family instead of listening to me grumpily doing two days worth of chores on our one day off together.

I'm usually the lazy one on the weekends...I do try and get something done in the afternoon though.

We have this issue. DH doesn't understand why I don't wake up and start cleaning on Saturday morning. All week long I clean in the afternoon but Saturday I'm suppose to leap up and clean?

Well I WOH and usually spend at least one evening during the week and Sundays doing pretty much nothing---watching TV, computer time, games with the kids. Maybe I will fold some laundry.
