Raw babyfood with vitamix
Ones anyone use a vitamin or some really powerful blender & blend raw fruits or veggies without steaming first?
I hear this has most nutrients If you do what blender do you use? |

While some of the vitamins can decrease through cooking, some raw fruits and veggies can be very difficult to digest and be more allergenic for an immature system.
I'm sure most fruits and some veggies would be fine, but I'd be cautious about which ones to serve raw. |

I did. Some foods are too hard to digest raw, so I did steam those. Like peppers and carrots. I like to do a mixture. Like for instance id juice carrots and beets and apples, then use the fresh juice to blend it with a banana and romain lettuce and some spinach. I then mix it with chia seeds to thicken it up and spoon feed it. Kind of a process, but worth it. If I'm watching to make a few days worth I'll add fresh lemon juice to it to preserve the color, but it's really best nutrition wise to serve immediately.
