Hubby is finally willingly on board!(long but may give hope)

So I always wanted a large family but the more we had the more hubby said "I'm done". Stressing about the financial aspect and feeling like he'd done his part marrying and being plentiful! Lol.... We would get into heated discussions/ boarder line arguments when it came to having more children and over the years I reluctantly went on several birth controls that gave me horrible side affects or didn't work anyway. Now my husband is honestly the most God fearing man I know and is always leaving things up to his will and is content with the outcome, which is why his stance on having more kids was so puzzling to me... It was totally opposite to the way he spoke and taught about all other things in life. So I prayed for years that he would look at having so many,so easily, as I do.... an unbelievable blessing that's hard at times but comes with no better reward. Well the other day we talking about saving for a house, getting a bigger vehicle,ect... And he said we are gonna need x,y,and z because I could see you still popping them out at 40, he paused and said.."ya know, I don't even care anymore. However many God gives us is how many he gives us" in shock I said " how did this 360 come about" and he said "I WAS WRONG, I TRIED TO CONTROL A SITUATION THAT ONLY GOD HAS CONTROL OVER.". and there I sat speechless as he walked out the room to go run some errands. God can make the impossible possible and I just had to share.

Yay! My Dh isn't there yet. I just keep telling myself that I only have to convince him of one at a time, then only for one night

That is awesome news, it's so much easier when your spouse is on board with you.

Re: Hubby is finally willingly on board!(long but may give hope)

That's excellent! We are only expecting our 1st right now but I've always known I've wanted a large family. While right now DH is in agreement with this I'm worried that as time goes on he might change his mind (because he doesn't come from a big family). I'm hoping that as time goes on he continues to sees how wonderful it will be!
