Can I cook bbq and then freeze it?

I am having a retirement party on Saturday for my husband we are making pulled pork BBQ. Can I cook it in the crockpot today, shred it and then freeze it until Saturday? Any tips from those that have done it?!

Yes, I pack it in freezer bags. When I'm ready to use it I defrost in hot water (you could use the microwave) then reheat it in my cast iron skillet.

Yes, when I cook my soup bones, I save the meat for BBQ. I make a big batch of BBQ, and freeze whatever we don't eat. 2-3 cup portions seem to work pretty well for us.
