I use this method with my sons daycare and it works wonderfully. As you said, I send him in preloaded covers. I make my own covers tho, so having enough isn't an issue.

I'm glad that this might be an option for us at daycare. I will talk to my daycare folks and see if they are willing to try this instead of dealing with leaking diapers.

Omg I keep buying AIOs an have wicking, leaking and fit issues at daycare now, and DS only goes 2 days a week! I was seriously just going to post about what the best sized covers would be for this system at daycare, and how many we would need?

I am thinking of the new Bummis Velcro cover, I'm pretty sure there is no flap but if I folded the prefold in already it might be okay I think. Those covers are inexpensive and I think 6 - 8 covers would be enough for when ds starts daycare full time. I just want to sell all of my AIOs now!!!
