Often, I say something, everyone starts laughing... and I'm like, "Wait, what? ... What's so funny?" ... and they're laughing at a "joke" I made.... that I totally didn't even intend to be funny.

Then I say something TO be funny... and... *crickets* ... oops. made someone mad. Dang.
I suffer from chronic sarcasm. To the point that people don't get that I'm messing with them. LOL

If "choffee" is anything like a mocha I would love it. I need something to fill that need for a evening coffee without the caffeine to keep me awake. yum!

He has a good few months before he has to worry about that. I'm preggo.

BUT I could tell him its an aphrodisiac.... 'cept that's my excuse for Starbucks.

Starbucks.....

Me and Starbucks go together like Homer Simpson and donuts.

Hm. Maybe Choffy is cheaper overall! See, now THAT is a reason he'd be able to hear.

OK, having tasted cacoa nibs, I picture this tasting strong, nutty and slightly bitter, with very possibly a hint of chocolate flavor. I mean it would be like baking chocloate, with less chocolate flavor. I think it would need a lot of milk and sugar for most people to probably enjoy the flavor. I do think it leads you to thinking the product is sweet, at least the way it reads and there is just no way this will be sweet or super chocolately, as it's further processing and ingredients that bring those traditional flavors out. It would not replace a Mocha that's for sure

I also wonder, doesn't chocolate have caffeine? Energy claims always get me a bit cynical though.

This. Cocoa on its own doesn't taste like chocolate.

Re: Has anyon here tried Choffy?

Looking at the site I am also not surprised having again eaten the nibs, it takes a long time to make. They want you to steep in a french press at least 5 minutes. I will be honest I would never have that kind of time or patience, this is why I hate long time steeping teas too They do add you can use a coffee maker, but I think with the hard bean type it wouldn't get as much flavor as a long steep in a french press. That turns me off, and I was thinking DH might like this.
