Need a new carrier....

I have an Ergo that I love! I used it all the time with my 18 month old. But, my kids lost my waist extender when my 12 yo took it off to wear him while I was gone with my preemie. I can wear it without the extender but unlike it low on my hips and thus need the extender. If I wear it up higher it hurts my back but low on my hips and I am good all day log.

I was thinking of getting a Mei Tei type carrier with straps instead of buckles. But I am worried as it says it can't be worn low on the hips. Will it hurt my back? I know they are different but am worries.

We will keep the Ergo for my 18 month old for dh and dd to wear him. I will wear my newbie. What is a good kind of Mei Tei to start with? Spam me please!!

Would any other carrier work? I don't like the Moby it was too hard to wrap. Will I have problems with the Mei Tei? I have tried a KTan also and was jot find of it. I have a ring sling but I like the SCC types better.

I would recommend a Plus size Kinderpack if you like the Ergo but don't like the fit. KP's are SOOO comfortable. I like my Ergo, but I <3 my Kinderpack!
