On a bad night, 4-6 hours broken sleep, on a good night 6-8 hours broken sleep. Lately have been lots of bad nights. Dd is the lightest sleeper in the world and likes to go to bed late and wake up early plus nurse numerous times through the night.

Re: how much sleep?

No where near enough! I can't sleep and when I do fall asleep I normally wake up off and on until it is time to wake up.

So I get MAYBE 3 hours of solid sleep.

Re: how much sleep?

I need sleep to function mentally and emotionally. I go to bed between 7:30 - 8:30 at the latest and get up between 6:30 - 7:30 each AM. I do not sleep straight through though as I have a cosleeping nursling. I also have chronic fatigue. I have to get enough sleep total to function without being the big B all day. DH is good about it considering he is the insomniac who does not go to bed till 2-3 AM and gets up with me in the AM.

I go to bed around midnight. My 22 month old wakes frequently to nurse still. 5 am is when he gets fussy/wakeful.. So frequently during that time I
Basically wake up then. It's s blessing if I get 10 minutes in between when he goes falls back asleep (& off me!) to when my preschooler climbs into bed & tosses around until he decides we need to get up 10 mins later.
My brain has felt fuzzy for awhile. Lol. Baby's been going to bed around 10 & then I just really want an hour to myself..wish he's wean already.

Re: how much sleep?

About 8 (but broken, as Kate (2) is up at least once in the night). Now that I've been getting more sleep it makes having another baby not as attractive lol!

7-9 hours depending on what time i go to bed. It is broken up. I tend to toss and turn a lot. Normal bedtime is 11pm but I crash early sometimes on nights DH works. I get up at 6:45.

Re: how much sleep?

My 2.5 year olds STTN and have for a while. The only exception is if they are sick or when they were teething.

I go to sleep at 10pm (rarely up later than this) and up at 4:45, so just short of 7 hours. I usually sleep 15-30 minutes additional on the weekends.

I usually go to bed around 9 or 10 and our alarm goes off at 5:30. DS gets up 0-9 times a night depending on what level of stuffiness he has from colds/allergies. I have gone to bed as early as 8 this pregnancy as I am super tired.

Lord knows how I will function if the new baby sleeps as "well" as DS did as a newbie. DS only slept held upright and ate at least every 2 hours but usually ever hour all night long. He cluster fed from 8-11 every night and was up for the day at 4! I fell asleep feeding him on a regular basis because my body could not handle the wacky schedule.
