co sleeping night nursing not working any more wtd?

7 45 am breastfeed
8:30 breakfast of 1 jar fruit 2 tbs yogurt and 2 tbs cereal
10 am breastfeed
11 am snack of cerrioes rice cake etc.
1pm lunch of jarred fruit and veg combo, with 3 tbs cottage cheese and bread
2 breastfeed
3 snack
5 dinner of veg rice and beans and some tastes of our food totalling about 1 cup total
7pm breastfeed
10pm breastfeed
2am breastfeed
4am breastfeed

this is of course how most days go usually i sneak an extra day feeding in somewhere but it is usually random

Yup, that's about the same schedule DD had at that age. It didn't matter how much she ate during the day, she still nursed at night 8pm (bedtime), 11pm, 3am, and 6am.

Assuming your DS is going to bed at 7pm, 13 hours is long time to go without boob. I'd would expect a minimum of 2 or 3 feedings in that time. You could try giving him a snack and some water immediately before bedtime?

Other than attempting to night wean using some method (Jay Gordon's is good) I am not sure. My 10 month old still night nurses. I just go to bed super early (when he does) so the night waking is not so bad. I rarely wake all the way, so do not even know how many times he nurses. I just know when he starts to figit, I stick a boob in his mouth.

I always wake all the way! My son is 9 months old and I am wondering when we can move him into a crib. I love co-sleeping most of the time but I feel like it must end sometime.

i wake all the way too. i usually have to uncling him from the head of our bed (which is a solid comfy headboard so he doesnt get hurt. i love it too but sometimes its just to much. i have had good luck with trying to get him in the pack n play for a few nights and letting him nap in different places so he doesnt get used to sleeping in our bed all the time. i hope this makes it easier to transition him. it seems like it will be as long road. my lo is the type where if he isnt ready there is no other way

Mama- my "nursling" will be 2 in April. He eats like whoa- he weighs as much as big brother (4 in April!) and STILL nurses multiple times a night! I want him weaned but he's not ready. I weaned big brother @ 18 months since I was pregnant & it took him a VERY long time to sleep through the night. He's still up at least once a night. It's just their personalities. :/ I would LOVE a night of unbroken sleep!! I don't even get 4 hrs! Lol
