Quilt batting help

I've never made a quilt before, but somehow I need to crank out two before this baby comes... Anyway, I'm looking at batting and can't figure out what would be best? I'm using vintage sheets and making twin size quilts. Here are my ideas so far:

Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm feeling so overwhelmed!

For my first one I used warm and natural.. I've heard by using cotton, it will minimize shrinking.. Mine didn't after washing. Hope that helps!

Re: Quilt batting help

I've also had good results with warm and natural, although I've never tried a wool batting.

If you will not be hand washing I would with with cotton. You may get a better price at Joannes for that with a coupon.

I'll second warm & natural! I have a quilt I made about 18 years ago with warm & natural and it has not shrunk, bunched, twisted at all - still just like new after being machine washed too!

Re: Quilt batting help

Thank you all for the feedback so far. We love wool for bedding, but I hadn't thought about shrinkage... or wash-ability, lol. I guess for their main blanket it should be something easy to wash...
