Best way to wash carseat cover?

I know not to wash the straps.

It's a graco snugride 35. I know a lot say to handwash but I know many wash in the machine anyway. So, delicate cycle, extra rinse probably...planning to use tide liquid, is that ok? Also, what temp? We have cold, cool, warm, and hot options. I was thinking hang to dry?

or the 'hand wash' option on my washer, whichever I think to use at the time!
I've always washed all our seat covers like this.
Definitely use cold water and hang to dry, though, so you don't shrink them at all.

Same here. And I don't use the full amount of soap. I dry on a drying rack near my heat vent and a fan. Over a kitchen chair is good, too.
