I got my wool at Joanns, and with a 50% off coupon it was only $5 and it's making me 4 dryer balls. Cute ones.

OH!! Big note on whoever wants to do it in the crockpot. Notice the two left ones are more solid colors, and two right ones are mottled? That's because the left ones I added the color all at once (didn't flip like in the tut) and the two right ones I added color in stages. If you want the mottled look a second set of color will fill the white spots. (Any dye over weaker colors)

The far right I did half orange and half green then later yellow in the white zone between. The middle right I did half pink half yellow then flipped like the tut says and did green on the back of yellow and blue on the back of pink. So pink turned a lot purple and yellow was pretty covered over.

Re: First time dyeing wool!

ooh they're so spring-y. You have a knack for it! They look 1000x better than my first couple tries. I think I try to control it too much. LOL

That looks fun. I am typically drawn to muted colors.....but the hot pink one is amazing! the others are lovely too.

It's super fun and way easy. Just like crockpot food just throw it in and forget. Lol
