How long does it take in general? It sounds time consuming. But I would love to try it.

Mine isn't as involved as it sounds. I do it when I'm going to be home for a little while. It takes me 5-10 minutes to grate the soap and the rest is just coming back to the stove every once in a while to stir it and add another ingredient. It doesn't have to be babysat, I just leave it and go do other things. From start to finish I can have it done in about an hour, but I'm not standing there by the stove the whole time. I add water and an ingredient and then walk away. You can add all the powders at once.

My iDevices are out to get me. Please excuse mistakes.
