Reusable nursing pads

What is your favorite reusable/washable nursing pad and why? I have the udder covers pads right now but I don't think they're breathable enough.

Re: Reusable nursing pads

I use Dr Browns and Gerber. Dr Browns are nice and soft, but I leak through them at night. Gerber's don't leak through the back, but are small and don't hold much. So, during the day, they both work great, but neither are perfect at night.

Re: Reusable nursing pads

I made my own, the first ones were just flannel & they sucked :P the second ones are amazing...they hold 1/2oz before leaking. They're cotton knit, microfleece & flannel but no thicker than the just flannel ones.

Re: Reusable nursing pads

I keep reading about wool backed ones? I have only seen one person say something good about and most people say No to it. Anybody have feedback on wool/ wool backed nursing pads? Would they work the same as wool does on baby's butt?

Re: Reusable nursing pads

Are you changing them enough? I ask because I can tell when I need to change my nursing pads because they feel clammy and dank, lol. I don't know how to explain it in nicer-sounding terms, but when my pads are dry they definitely feel like they breathe more, if that makes sense.
