Where did you buy your natural twin mattress?

I am looking to move my son up to a twin mattress before the new baby comes this fall. Where did you get your natural twin mattress.

We will probably be looking for rubber tree rubber like our mattress is.

thank

Re: Where did you buy your natural twin bed?

A while back, I purchased one really cheap over ebay that came with a European style slat frame (no box spring necessary) that you had to assemble. I believe it was natural latex. The mattress came rolled up, and when you unrolled it and let it absorb air for a day, it got all firm and plump (it cannot be rolled up again or even smushed down; it is quite firm with the slat spring giving it a little more bounce). It served me well for a season, and when I sold it on craigslist, the woman was practically crying tears of joy b/c she couldn't believe how supportive it was. The slat spring frame was none too pretty, but I got an extra long handmade bedspread to try to obscure it.

Due to physical problems, I needed some more features to my mattress apart from good support. I also was tearing off the covers of my twin bed every night b/c I move around so much. (I am single and so was sleeping on this myself.) So I did get a new queen mattress from Macy's that is not at all natural (the price options for such features were simply NOT options).

However, I will say that while I was at Macy's there were just a couple of hotel style showroom model latex mattresses on a deep clearance sale. They were the wrong sizes for me, but you may want to look at your nearest Macy's just in case they have them.

We ordered our natural latex twin and crib from Organic Grace. She is an MDC mama from California and ships directly to your door. She had great customer service and we are very happy with both mattresses that DS has used.

Re: Where did you buy your natural twin mattress?

Thanks. The CHAMBORD 7" Certified 100% Natural Latex Mattress was delivered and before we even completely unwrapped it we noticed that the side stitching in unraveling. I sent an email out to the company last night... hopefully this ends well.
