I thought about that the other day and have been changing them more frequently which seems to help!

Re: Reusable nursing pads

It'll get better in a few weeks, too, as your milk regulates. I post-stalked your blog because I'm from the Cities and I know an Aaron Gibbs, so I was curious... I saw your baby is just a few weeks old, but around 7-8 weeks your body should start to leak less and you'll be more comfortable, too.

Of course, my youngest is 2 months on Tuesday and just when I think it's going to be better, she goes through a nursing streak and I end up leaking so much I fill pads again... LOL

Re: Reusable nursing pads

I love my wool backed ones from Just Fussy they are the extra absorbancy and have worked great. I also have another brand that are wool backed but they are thicker and less absorbant.

You won't regret it. I'm sad that I don't need to wear them anymore, they are so soft and comfy.

Re: Reusable nursing pads

I tried many brands and found Motherease to be awesome. I leaked through everything but they would last 24 hours! I bought the staydry ones (they also have bamboo and cotton) because I was prone to thrush when I was damp all the time. Even changing pads every feed didnt help, but like I said, with the Motherease staydry, I used a pair for 24 hours. They are also contoured so more comfy and discreet than flat pads.

I pink sparkly heart my bamboobies! I've never used the overnights and I don't leak much if that makes a difference. They are super soft and comfy and not noticeable under t-shirts. I still have to wear them because if dd goes just 10 minutes past 3 hours between nursing I will usually leak on the opposite side a little.

Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum most likely while nursing
