Trying to get WHAM business going.

I've been wanting to make items for sale. I have lots of time on my hands now that I'm a SHAM. I've been making things for the kids (new bedding and tie-blankets). My DH also sews so between us we get a lot of home-made things done.

Items I'm interested in making and selling include:
Diaper cakes-either cloth or disposable or clothing cakes.
Mama Cloth
Diapers
Unpaper towels
cloth wipes
family cloth wipes

How did you start your WHAM business?

Re: Trying to get WHAM business going.

It is pretty cheap to start up an Etsy or Hyena Cart store. Things might go slow at first because you won't have reviews. I would not bother with Ebay, like I did at the start. I would create a small inventory and list them and just see how things go before going crazy with it and investing a lot. That way you can see what types of things sell and what doesn't. Make sure to start a facebook page, and market yourself on forums where it is allowed. Good luck!

Start here & on etsy. There is a really broad market on etsy & you will get a lot of exposure! Make up some product, take your pics, then start listing. Etsy is very user-friendly!
