Just in half to make a squarish shape, then in 3rds the short way.

They are the same amount of layers as a BGE, but definitely trimmer because there isn't that bump from the soaker to deal with. They are trimmer than Thirsties hemp definitely, and probably the same absorbency of the size 1 folded in half.

They look really nice!

Just through the wetzone. He peed a TON and they totally held it. I was flabbergasted when changing him that he was that wet and it didn't leak at all and his skin was perfect.

These are made from a stretchy organic cotton and the material is known to be extremely absorbent.

I'm waiting until Abby's Lane gets them in this week as I have a gift certificate to use. I can't wait

What are these inserts called? I'm unfamiliar with the flip system - tried looking it up on cottonbabies, but don't think I could find them.

These are the new "Flip Organic day time insert" and are like a stretchy rectangular flat (only one layer). The original Flip Organic insert (like a prefold that can be folded either direction) is now called a "Night time insert".

I don't think any retailers have them yet, but Cottonbabies has them as part of the "daypacks" which is 2 covers and 8 inserts, or they sell them separately in a 3 pack

My local cd store had them this weekend when I was there! I am not sure if online retailers have them or not, but she does online orders too!

I would love that! I really am loving this system for our 18mo but I'm hoping it would work just as well for a young baby if we are blessed with #6. I'm just SO over complicated diapers and these are like a breath of fresh air for a busy mama. So simple!

Ideally ds4 should be PLed by the time we would possibly have another baby, so I think I'd probably only have to buy replacement Flip covers if these work for a young baby too. I think these inserts will hold up nicely so I should hopefully be able to save a bunch of $ that way. I think that they could be folded to keep poop off a cover for an EBF little one and be nice and trim. I am anxiously waiting for someone with a little baby to review them!
