GMD WH Sizing

I have an average sized 30lb 22 month old, and want to try gmd wh diapers. She is right on the line between brown and greens. I have read that most kiddos potty learn in browns and never use greens. What size do you think would work?

Also , I want to dive into wool. I want a fairly trim, non-leaking cover or covers for day use. Any suggestion?

DS2 wore browns from age 2 to 3. He was between 28 and 30 lbs. He got more active and taller and only gained a little bit. By 3 they were getting a little short in the rise but I was fine with that.

My favorite covers were the blueberry OS coveralls.

I had some greens but actaully prefered the fit of the browns better, especially under clothes. not as bulky.

gmd... depends on the type of rise you're looking for...

my son is not yet 30 lbs (I don't think, at least) but we'll be moving to green anytime now.

I'm holding off as long as possible, but he started wearing browns a little after 4 months old. (now 17 months)

edit- should have said he was 20 lbs at 4 months.
