Diaper Swappers

This morning at my Dr.s appt I had a sign of a bladder infection. After getting home within 2 hours my left kidney started hurting badly and I spiked a fever. I'm currently in the hospital and will be here few a few days. When pregnant there is a very real risk of the lungs filling up with fluid and being transferred to the ICU (Im currently in Labor and Delivery) when we got here both baby and my heartrate was very high in response to the fever. Her and my heartrate have been stabilized thought it takes while. Each time my fever spikes her heartrate skyrockets and its important to get me fever down quickly to avoid fetal distress. Ive been given meds for the pain, which also helps me relax. Please pray we caught it early enough it will not affect my lungs and heal quickly. Also that I wont end up in preterm labor in response, as with my history its a risk. (4 Premies) However right now everything looks very good in that area. I think my husband is quite nervous, please pray the Lord would calm his nerves. Also that the kids would have an easy time being with someone else for a few days. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

PS - I'm 28 weeks 3 days pregnant

Oh man, I hope it all clears up for you! It sounds like you at least got in as soon as you realized something was up, I'm sure that will help a ton. Try to look at the bright side, if the worst does happen, you're at a pretty good spot as far as viability. Two weeks ago would have been a whole different story. I bet you go home soon and all will be well!

hope you feel better soon momma! If this is something that bothers you often could I suggest dmannose? Works great to prevent UTIs/bladder infections

just take it daily, it's works great and is all natural.

I dont usually have a problem with it. This came on fast and furious out of no where.
I spiked another fever last night (despite the meds), and it takes a bit to get her heartrate down. Poor baby girl. My fever was 104 last night, she doesnt like that.

going through the same thing right now plus stones on both side and it is beyond miserable. Hoping for a fast recovery for you both.

I feel for you. I have underlying kidney disease, last week I passed a kidney stone bigger then a pea. It hurt so bad. Get better soon.

Thanks you! Im home now, came home late Sunday night (my 24 hours with no fever mark) and am still.not 100% but doing better. Baby looks great, thankfully! She handed it well.
