Soft water advice

We have hard water at our house but we are getting a water softener installed. Anyone have advise for washing diapers in soft water? We are planning on using targets generic gain f&c soap. Thanks!

Soft water you just wash like normal Pre-rinse, wash, possibly another rinse, dry If you are getting a softener you'll actually have nice balanced water, which is good

You are going to love it! All laundry is so much better with soft water. You can probably use a little less detergent than you've been using.

Thanks! I was worried about the amount of soap to use. We've never had soft water so I have no clue!! it's going to be professionally installed so that makes sense that it will be balanced versus overly soft. Should I cut back in the amount of detergent? I don't want crazy suds & have to do 5 extra rinses. Lol

Thanks!! I'm excited for it. Our metal tub from the 70's is rusted through my the overflow valve & the bottom is really rusted too. After only a couple if years my good quality flatware is rusting too

We have a pro system too, I love it. I have an HE washer so I already use less, but I use less than less

We also have a water softener and I use an HE FL. I use about 2/3 the recommended detergent. You'll love it!

Like others said.... Less soap. You could start with your regular amount and gradually start decreasing until you find the magic amount. Just be prepared for extra rinses while you are fine tuning.
