Stay Dry Fitted Option Under a Wool Soaker
I'm a newbie to fitteds and wool but we love BG freetimes, elementals, and swaddlebees AIO's. The freetimes work the best at night- is this because they are a stay dry option? DS wakes up when he's wet sooner in BGEs.
I just got a kissaluvs wool cover and I've been using kissaluvs cotton fleece newborn fitteds that still fit under- but my DS gets red and clammy. The fitted seems to wet his skin all the way up the fitted from the soaker area to the waist by his belly button and everywhere in between (not a leak, just every part of the fitted ends up wet- compared to the AIO's I'm used to where he's only wet closer to where he wet-does that make sense?) He doesn't get red like this from any of the AIO's. Do I need a stay dry fitted under the wool soaker? Suggestions? He is 2 months and around 13 pounds.

That's what happened to DD. She really needs stay dry. I have started using a fleece liner and it really helps. I know there are some stay dry fitteds out there but liners were cheaper than a new stash.

BSRBs have a stay dry option. She stocks on Fri afternoon, though she doesn't always do stay dry.

The fleece liners work great! I had a nice mom cut some out for me for like .50 each, but you can just buy a 100% fleece blanket and cut some to the size you need. Much more cost effective.

Re: Stay Dry Fitted Option Under a Wool Soaker
Liners are a good option- I don't have a stash of fitteds yet, just some newborns he's about to outgrow, so I can shop around a little. Any others I should look at?

Nanas bottoms can do customs with fleece or suede inner for stay dry and whatever soaker you like. She's very well priced too!

I think fleece liners would work well, and I'd also think about adding absorbency. That would help keep the pee in the wet zone.

Re: Stay Dry Fitted Option Under a Wool Soaker
Sun Seedlings will make stay dry fitted. Email her about her night time fitted. She gets my custom orders out in a day out two.
Green Acre Designs has semi fitteds lined in fleece, you stuff them with inserts, so they can be absorbent as you need. If you are just looking for a breathable stay dry option, she also makes windpro pocket diapers......awesome for nights and on sale.

Re: Stay Dry Fitted Option Under a Wool Soaker
You're probably right. I switched from my newborn dipes to my OS at three weeks because he was leaking through everything. I just went back to them because I just got the wool soaker and they still fit, but they're obviously not holding what I need them too.

Re: Stay Dry Fitted Option Under a Wool Soaker
MEOS staydry fitteds...they have athletic wicking fabric as the stay-dry which is really very effective. The best staydry IMO, and I also have suedecloth and fleece in my stash.
