Helo! My wool stinks!

I've washed it pretty thoroughly and they are all starting to smell like garbage. Literally. I'm so sad to be back in PUL. different soap? Multiple washes? Please help!,

How are you washing it? What are you using?

Suds n duds wash bar. Last time I washed I rubbed the soap right on the wool and then soak and rinse. Smells okay for a bit and then couple pee diapers later it stinks already.

Wash it with some blue Dawn, machine wash if possible. Are you using lanolin or just the bar? Sounds like it needs to be lanolized more with a separate lanolin. There may not be enough lanolin in the wash to do anything. Do your diapers smell?

Yes I relanolize every time I wash. Dipes don't smell a bit. Will try the dawn. Thx.
