I drink coke. I don't really have much of an accent. I lived all over the south, but you can only occasionally hear an accent. There are a few words that it really comes out and when i get mad you hear it, but other wise most people can't place my accent. I grew up with everyone around me saying ya'll but I only started ya'll when I started working in a retirement community in the south in which most of the residents were from New England. The expected to hear it so they got it.

I'm from Oregon and don't have an accent, but I did grow up saying pop. Now I say soda because I think it sounds classier. And we live in Chicago!

We are in the city, and my husband grew up in holy charlie.

I say soda, but most people here say pop. I'm from Nebraska, and we have a complete lack of accent here. Most US call centers are based here, b/c of that reason. Everyone is easy for everyone else to understand.

Yup, I'm from Philly so I have an accent. Here in the northeast regional accents are common.

Re: So do you

Nope, no accent over here. I use the terms, not the accent.

However, apparently when I get really into something, or a few specific words my friends tell me I whip out a Pennsylvania accent? Makes 0 sense, since I have only been once, and it was for 2 days!
