sound more like a chain letter with books. never understood how the chain letters got to so many people as ones I had been in had list of people to send to already in. the envelope I got. I don't think I could afford right now. good luck.

No worries, we actually have plenty of books, it had just seemed like fun. But oh well and we'll just see what happens.

It's definitely a chain letter. It's fun in theory, if/when people follow through. It can be difficult to get people to agree to it, though. Or people make the mistake of just sending the letter off to people without checking with them first, so people that don't want to participate are getting letters and then just throw them away, so then people don't get books because of those people.
