Diagnose Me :) - update and another question about chiro adjustrments

update-
I feel much better since going to the chiro but something weird happened. Since midnight I've peed SEVEN times and lost three pounds! Is this normal? I've never been to the chiro before and if this is usual then excellent cause I'm trying to loose weight

Ok mamas - I have a Dr's appointment on Monday. We have drop in clinics here but I would need to take 7 kids with me! I may head into the ER though if things get worse....

I *think* I have a kidney infection. I have that bladder infection (burning achy in my lower abdomen) feeling plus horrible back pain. I also have an awful headache and I feel dizzy and like I'm going to be sick. BUT DH and I noticed tonight that the whites of my eyes are starting to turn yellow. I'm a little worried that something is really wrong with me. Dr google doesn't connect jaundice to bladder or kidney infections. Anyone know what's wrong with me? I can't sleep because I'm in too much pain...

ETA - gallbladder and appendix are already gone.

I don't have a gallbladder I'm missing that and my appendix already - both emergency surgeries - both after they had ruptured - both requiring LONG recoveries.

jaundice usually indicates liver dysfunction...

Pancreas, then? I also vote for the ER, unfortunately. Jaundice does indicate liver dysfunction and I've seen a lot of causes for it that need a work up to diagnose the exact cause and determine treatment.

What doctor would make their patient who's in severe pain wait until Monday to get an apt????? Go to the ER because they can do all the testing right away, and you'll get your diagnosis right then and there. At the dr office, if they think you have a UTI, the only thing they will do is make u pee in a cup, then wait another 2-3 days before getting you meds.

Yellow in the eyes usually indicates an issue with the liver (jaundice). But, that's not 100% the case, but it's the usual...low belly pains, back pains sound more like a bad bladder infec that went to the kidneys. How long have u had this pain for?

Re: Diagnose Me :) DS Dr Mamas!

I have had renal failure caused by a huge kidney stone and I waited too long to seek medical help because I thought I only had swine flu. My other organs including my liver were starting to shut down as well the ER doctor explained that I was likely only a few hours from coma. I was VERY ill. Please seek medical treatment.

Even with your gall bladder removed you can still get stones in your liver (like a gall stone, I guess) and it can create a lot of pain. I just had my gall bladder out and I am reading up on all the fun facts associated with it being gone.

Could be gall stones... Yellowing of the eyes is a symptom as well.

No ideas here, but I'm hoping you aren't responding because you are off at the hospital getting treated!
