Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
24 small cotton flats
24 large bamboo flats 9 OS covers 4 doublers for night time. Although the small flats are boxed up with the newborn clothes. I want to get 24 nb fitteds, and 4 small covers next time around, I need to actually sell all the stuff that didn't work for us (I have two drawers worth, sealed in plastic bags, that have just been sitting there for months)

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
Reading posts by the mamas who are burned out from their crazy stashes & laundry drama has inspired me to keep things simple & inexpensive.
![]() I'm working on my simple stash for my first baby--due in a couple of weeks!!!!! This is what I have & hope will work well for me: 36 Large DR flats, UB 8 Flips w/ snaps Fleece liners I have a 12 FST flats & 4 NB nylon dappi pull-ons, if I want to CD part time when he's itty-bitty... but I'm kinda hoping I have a big baby who will fit OS covers & large flats really soon (maybe I should be careful what I wish for).

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
I have a very simple stash....sposies, lol!
![]() When I was actually CD'ing (sadly my youngest just PT) I used toddler prefolds that I cut in half (width wise) and served. If I trifolded them long ways in a cover they worked great for toddlers, if I trifolded them width wise they worked great for babies about 3 months and up. I just bought OS covers and I was good for 2 in dipes.

We did that for almost 6 months with my youngest. Just bought a big case of wipes and diapers online and there was no stress at all. It was really what has inspired me to stay super simple with our cloth stash now that we are back to using it on ds4. One type, without lots of extra parts and pieces just works much better for me, or I'll end up back to using disposables.

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
I just googled Young House Love diapers... Now I want to get rid of all my fitted dipes and just do 18 pockets... I don't think I would want only 12 diapers!

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
I'd like to get rid of some of our diapers, but i'd also like to recoup a bit of $, but with shipping being so crazy expensive in Canada, I'm kinda stuck with them for now. I have way too many
15 MEOS stay dry 10 MEOS with a sewn in flannel layer (I did this since they were so thin) 15 (maybe more) very baby pockets I love them, but there is no way that I ever get to the bottom of the pile. I also have a bunch of pockets that aren't sewn but all cut out and ready to sew. What's a girl to do? I'd like to get rid of all the MEOS that aren't stay dry. But I had them listed a while ago and was able to sell 10 of them, but no go on these. Even at 30 diapers this is too many for us. I use disposable when we go to town for groceries and at church, so I'm not 100% cloth anymore.

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
Diapers is one area where I have actually met my minimalist challenge. My kiddos are in daycare, so flats or prefolds have never been an option. And overnight cloth never worked for me, so we use sposies at night. I currently have about 15 large Bottombumpers all in ones that we use on a regular basis. I still have most of our mediums that DS2 has outgrown but can be used if we are running low on dipes. I sold off most of my newborn and small dipes but there were a few that didn't sell back then -- I need to get those posted again and out of the closet.

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
Kinda? Not quite as simple as it could be, but I consider it minimalist as it fits into one drawer of her dresser. I got caught up in buying and selling for while, unfortunately. I would have much less diaper stress if I had just gone flats/prefolds and covers. Ah well. Our stash is:
12 small flats 6 large flats 3 Flip flats 6 large Sandy's (use these stuffed with doublers for nights/naps) 2 small Sandy's 8 OS/large covers 6 AIOs 6 pockets (that I stuff with flats), or use as single use covers sometimes My newborn stash is complete and very simple: 24 prefolds 9 flour sack flats 7 newborn/small covers |

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
I dream of 18 OS AIOs, but I'm so scared of the laundry situation, I've heard so many stories!

Re: Do you have a simple / minimal diaper stash?
12 GMD yellow edge pfs
