I had weeks of contractions with Isaac, my body kept trying to go into labor but just wouldn't/couldn't. When we found out his positioning, it made sense - he was breech, bum in my left hip, legs across the bottom so only his thighs were on my cervix, not any pressure in there with contractions to do any good.
Not trying to say baby is breech, but maybe he's just not in the exact right position?

I had 12 days of heavy, clotty bleeding before I even knew I was pregnant with Isaac. It was from an SCH. Isaac is most definitely fine now, and about to turn 7!
With all of my healthy pregnancies I have also had cramping (very AF-like) at 5 weeks, lasting for a couple days, then stopping and I wake up the next morning with a tummy. I assume it's growing/stretching in there.

I haven't looked through her stuff in months. I just can't right now. I know I'll have to go through some stuff when DH finally gets around to hanging the shelf for her things... but I don't think I'll be able to open the memory box the hospital gave us. That's where the bunting and diaper are that she wore... and it's where her ashes are.
