Re: What would your spouse do for dinner?
Mine would've been like yours. It would've been sandwiches, cereal, or fast food. I don't keep processed and/or frozen meals on hand, mainly because we don't like them! The times that I know I'm going to be away for dinner, I still make dinners- like ones I can freeze. My hubby and kids are spoiled as far as food goes!

Re: What would your spouse do for dinner?
DH is a chef. No issues with food. He does all the cooking when he is home at night.
The last time he was home with just our older two, i had a work event, he made them shrimp pasta.

My husband would be fine but if he was worried he'd be doing very simple things.

Re: What would your spouse do for dinner?
Whenever I cannot cook or am simply to tired to cook my husband gets take out or fast food. My getting too sick to cook is an expensive proposition. Unless I have steak in the house. Which I currently do because I found it being clearanced out for $1.25-$1.50 a lb.
Then it would be steak and eggs or steak and baked potato. He does cook a good steak.

Re: What would your spouse do for dinner?
Pasta, sandwiches (grilled cheese, PB&J, cold cuts), quesadillas, maybe a pizza take-out. He might not follow a more elaborate recipe but he can throw some simple meals together and he often helps me in the kitchen anyway.

DH wouldn't have followed my meal plan, but I always keep a few homemade meals in the freezer and a couple of quick fix meals (frozen ravioli, jarred pasta sauce, etc). He is perfectly capable of handling those things and knows how to make a few Korean dishes the boys like, but he would have to go shopping for those things as we don't always have the ingredients on hand.

Re: What would your spouse do for dinner?
My DH is an amazing cook. I'm pretty lucky. I would be freaking out about the mess rather then meals. LOL

Re: What would your spouse do for dinner?
I had to take an emergency trip once from nc to floor I was gone about 40 hours. They ate... pancakes, waffles, and bagels!!!! Omg! I was like seriously???? I mean a happy meal would have been more balanced. I think now he would do a little better.
