normal pp discharge?

I'm 2 weeks one day post op c-section and still having fairly bright red with some small stringy clots. Sometimes it's a little more pinkinsh, but mostly red. It's heavier after nursing, especially if I also pump. Is this normal? I see my OB on Tuesday, so not too worried, just curious. thanks.

Yes, it's normal. Nursing causes uterine contractions so your flow would be heavier.

Normal unless accompanied by severe cramping or pain.

Still ask the dr, but it sounds totally normal. Post partum bleeding can last up to 8 weeks... Yahhhhh...

Mine was just under 6 weeks and was very light near the end (c-section also).

Same here. I also stopped bleeding for several days then started again. Scared me to death. Turns out your uterus can firm pools as it contracts and then contract more and dump them. Ewe. BFing also helps the uterus contract so bleeding more then doesn't surprise me

I'll be 3 wks pp Tuesday and I'm still having minor bleeding. I can just use just a pantiliner but sometimes I have to change after I breastfeed. I get more bleeding then. I had pretty severe cramping the first few days too. The cramps felt more like labor contractions; ouch!

Mine lasted for almost six weeks and was fairly heavy most of the first couple weeks. Always heavier when nursing.
