More absorbant flat

I can only get my son to wear a pad folded flat in a cover. I think it may be because of how trim they are. He throws a fit when wearing anything else. I am looking for recs on super absorbant flats in hemp or cotton (no bamboo).

The Flip organic cotton daytime insert. (flip flat) is the most thin, trim absorbent flat I have ever tried. Its like a miracle of nature.

I love them. The baby wore one today padfolded (only washed & dried ONCE) for 3 hrs & it was 1/3 dry when I changed him.
