Best Flats to Use with Wool
I have to use wool or fleece covers pretty much exclusively with DD. I'm wanting to try flats but wasn't sure which ones would be good to pair with wool. I change her very frequently since she despises being wet, but we use thin covers (like Sbish underwoolies) so she can wear regular pants. I don't want the wool to get soaked the second she pees, kwim?
I definitely want to try ODC flats & have heard the Flip flats are great too, but it seems most people are pad folding the Flips in a cover. I love the idea but we can't do PUL covers for more than an hour or else she gets a rash. Are the Flip flats big enough to do some basic folds that wouldn't soak the wool? She's 14 lbs right now if that's helpful. I like the looks of the Imse Vimse Muslin flats too... Any others that you all can suggest? Any yays/nays on the ones mentioned above? |

I love an origami folded large diaper rite flat under our UWs. It holds my 28+lb 16mo old light/moderate wetter for a couple hours. If we go longer the wool might feel damp.
If a flat isn't enough you could add a small doubler when you fold; that would help. |

Not really in my experience. You can fold in half and angel wing like a pf but thats about it. I posted pics on my flip flat review thread...
