Wool & fleece for overnight

As I had posted in another thread, we have had constant struggles with finding a nighttime solution. So far, we have found nothing bulletproof but combos that have leaked the least are a GM fitted with a Joeybunz premium hemp insert and a Disana soaker or a Kawaii GNHW stuffed with a Flip organic insert and a large Thirsties hemp insert. I just ordered 3 Sbish OBF fitteds to try next. I plan to use our Disana soakers with them (which I ) but I really need to put DS in pants this time of year. He usually wears fleece footie jammies. If I put these on over the fitted and Disana soaker, should I be okay or will we most likely have compression issues?

I don't know if fleece pjs work as well as a fleece soaker. You could try longies and socks

If you are using the fleece pjs over the wool soaker you should be fine. We use a fleece soaker overnight and don't get compression leaks, so you are adding an extra line of defense with the wool and fleece.

Yes, this is what I'm planning to do - use the Disana soaker with the pjs over it. I'm glad other it should be fine :-)

I just don't want to buy longies because I have already spent so much on overnight diapers and the soakers work great, but just aren't warm enough for DS right now,

I didn't see that you were using a soaker under the pjs. I thought you wanted to use the pjs instead of a soaker.

Re: Wool & fleece for overnight

You will be fine and obfs are an amazingly absorbent diaper. That and a wool cover is what finally solved our nighttime problem. :-)

If the pants don't fit over the wool, you could always use babylegs =)

I agree that the fleece pjs over the Disana soaker (also love these!) should work great.

If you have to0 much trouble getting them zipped, you could opt for fleece pants & socks. You can find really inexpensive pairs of fleece pants at walmart, old navy, good will.
