I use the angel wing, then roll the sides in.

I use newspaper fold. Using a snappi to hold it. Lift both legs up to check to see if there is any gaps around the legs = leak = possible blowout. Tuck all prefold inside the cover. ( Jelly roll it) Make sure the cover is also "hugging" around the legs area when lift up, secure around the back and tummy area. GL

The angel wing fold. Sometime it isn't tight enough on the legs so I just gently tuck the fabric in with my fingers to make more of a gusset/fold (does that make sense?). Even then we occasionally get a blowout if it's a monster poop, but the cover always catches it!

Agree! Actually a good cover makes a big different!! I use the thirties covers. They fit so well. If I get blowout, it's normally coz i got gaps. Like around the legs, tummy, back... Make sure there is no gap is the key.
