Re: prep fleece covers?

Just wash and go! There's really nothing special to do with fleece. Some Mamas use fabric softener on them to make them more waterproof but it's not necessary.

I was wondering this too. Also, do you wash them in the machine with your diapers? Or do they go in with the clothes? Or separate? Delicate or is normal okay?

I wash mine with our clothes, after scrubbing off any poo and rinsing them in the sink. I don't like it when the fleece gets diaper lint all over it.

Thanks, I guess I hadn't thought about washing them separately.

Usually you prep diapers to get oils off the absorbent fibers, so they absorb adequately. Since fleece isn't supposed to absorb, all you need to do is get off anything that might irritate your LO. One wash, or none if you live dangerously...
