Question Have a history of delivering a little early then go past term?

I've delivered both of my kids at 38 weeks (once induced, second labor started on it's own). How many people have a history of delivering a little "early" and then went full/past term? I think it'll be fun to see how many people stayed with the trend and how many how a totally different outcome the 2nd/3rd/etc time around

My first wasn't early, she actually arrived on her due date, but my second was nearly 2 weeks late.

I have a friend who delivered all 4 babies at 36 weeks.

was totally unfair on her 4th since she was due 2 weeks after me and had him 2 weeks before me

My first and second were both at 37 weeks exactly. I wonder what #3 will do! But I have high risk pregnancies so I doubt I go late!

I feel like this time I am going to go past my due date just because I never experienced it the last two times

Re: Have a history of delivering a little early then go past term?

#1 DS 37w5d (7.7 lbs)
#2 DD 41w1d (7.6 lbs)
#3 DD 40w2d and counting.... (midwives estimate she is right around 7lbs now)

My deliveries make me think that it's more about size for me than gestation? Those extra 3 WEEKS I waited for DD1 seemed like an eternity. I've just sort of accepted that this one will likely arrive around the same time as her sister, despite that I would love for her to come now!

#1 35w4d (6.6lbs.)
#2 37w1d (7.13lbs.)

I assume that I will always go early, but it was much nicer making it to 37 weeks with my daughter.
